If a listing has multiple variations, deleting it correctly depends on which delete option you use. This article explains how to delete a full listing (with all variations), a single variation, or just the monitor's copy of the variations — without accidentally removing something you meant to keep.
Prerequisites
- A listing with variations in Yaballe
- Access to the REPRICER page
Steps
- Locate the product line in the REPRICER page and click the red cogwheel icon on the right side of that line.
- Do not use the BULK OPERATIONS button for this — it does not give you the variation-level delete options below.
- In the delete options window that opens, choose one of the following based on what you want to delete:
A. Delete the entire listing (all variations) from both eBay and the Monitor
Check both "V" boxes in the delete panel.
B. Delete only a specific variation from the listing
Check the left "V" box only.
C. Delete all variations from the Monitor only (listing stays live on eBay)
Check the right "V" box only.
3. Confirm the deletion.
Troubleshooting / Common Issues
| Issue | Solution |
|---|---|
| I deleted from the Monitor but the listing is still active on eBay | This happens when only the right "V" was checked - that only removes the Monitor's copy. In such case, delete the items which are no longer in Yaballe directly in your eBay > Active Listings. |
| I wanted to delete one variation but the whole listing disappeared | Both "V" boxes were likely checked. Only check the left "V" box to remove a single variation. |
| I used BULK OPERATIONS and nothing happened to my multi-variation listings | BULK OPERATIONS doesn't support this level of variation control - always use the cogwheel icon for variation-specific deletes. |
FAQ
What's the difference between the left and right "V" checkbox?
The left "V" controls deletion on eBay itself; the right "V" controls deletion from the Monitor (Yaballe).
Can I delete just one variation without affecting the rest of the listing?
Yes - check only the left "V" box to remove a single variation while keeping the rest of the listing intact.
Why shouldn't I use BULK OPERATIONS for this?
BULK OPERATIONS doesn't expose the variation-level delete options (the two "V" checkboxes), so it can't be used for partial or precise variation deletion. If you select a multi-variation item row and apply bulk delete on it, it will be simply skipped.
