eBay has only general product description in a multi- variations listings. The idea is that eBay wants a multi-variation listings to be actually almost the same product, only in different colors or sizes. So in terms of the logic of how the listing is built in eBay there is only a general description in each listing. No way to insert a different text for each variation.
In Amazon it's different - there can be a situation where there is a brief description of each variation and a general description in addition. Or just a general description or just a description of each variation.
When there is no general description on Amazon, the monitor actually does not know what text to draw into the field of the general description in the lister. This is actually what this warning means - we've added it so you can pay attention to it before listing your list and fix it manually.
