Yaballe’s new Generate Listing Templates with AI feature enables you to build custom, professional eBay HTML description templates using simple text prompts. Instead of manually editing HTML code or adjusting complex layouts, you can describe the exact aesthetic you want, preview how your items will look across desktop and mobile screens, fine-tune design elements using plain words, and automatically populate product details—such as titles, images, descriptions, and features—every time you create a new listing.
Key Features
Prompt-Based Generation: Create unique templates by simply describing your desired design, theme, or color scheme (e.g., festive Christmas themes, Halloween motifs, or minimal navy/white layouts).
Responsive Multi-Device Preview: Preview designs with sample product data and check layouts across mobile, tablet, and desktop viewports (300px, 375px, 768px, 1040px, 1440px, and 1920px widths).
Conversational Refinement: Refine it in plain words. Ask for changes like "make the header dark green" or "put the image next to the description" until it looks right.
Flexible Saving Options: Save it your way. Save it as a new template or replace your current one, and make it your default in one click.
Step-by-Step Guide: Generating an AI Template
Step 1: Open the AI Generator
Log in to your Yaballe dashboard
In the left navigation menu, click Settings
Select the Templates tab at the top of the settings page
Click the Generate with AI button next to the template selector
Step 2: Describe Your Vision
In the modal prompt window under Describe the template you want, type a description of your preferred layout, colors, and theme
Example: "Create a festive Christmas-themed template with warm colors, snowflakes, Christmas trees, and holiday decorations."
Alternatively, select one of the provided quick prompt suggestions under Try an example.
Click Generate to create your initial design.
Step 3: Preview and Test Responsive Views
Once the preview generates, review the layout shown with sample product data
To inspect how the template adapts to different screen sizes:
Click Open preview in the top right corner of the preview area
Use the resolution toggles at the top right—300px, 375px, 768px, 1040px, 1440px, or 1920px—to evaluate how the template looks on narrow mobile pop-ups, tablets, and desktop displays
Click Back to Yaballe to return to the refinement editor
Step 4: Refine Design with Natural Language
If you want to adjust colors, fonts, or element positioning:
In the Describe what to change text box on the left panel, type your request in natural language.
Examples:
"Make the header dark green and put the image next to the description"
"Use some more warm colors"
Click Apply change to update the preview
If you want to start over from scratch, click Start over
Step 5: Save or Replace Your Template
(Optional) Check the Set as default template box if you want this design applied to all future listings by default.
Click Save or Replace current template at the bottom of the window
If you have reached your account template limit (e.g., 7 templates), confirm replacing your current active editor template by clicking Replace in the popup confirmation
Your template will now load into the standard editor in List Items page equipped with all tags ready for automated listing.
Once the item is listed, the template should be updated on eBay:
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
How do product details fill into the template automatically?
The AI template uses dynamic HTML tags such as ${item_title}, ${item_image}, ${item_description}, ${item_features}, and ${item_dimensions}. When you list an item, Yaballe automatically replaces these tags with your real product title, photos, item specifics, and description text.
Can I test how my template looks on mobile phones?
Yes. Click the Open preview button to launch the full-screen view mode. From there, select narrow width settings such as 300px or 375px to ensure your design renders clearly on mobile devices and eBay mobile pop-ups.
What happens if I reach the template limit on my account?
If you have reached your template limit (such as 7 templates), the AI template generator will give you the option to overwrite and replace the template currently open in your editor. You will be prompted to confirm the replacement before saving.
Can I manually edit the template code after the AI generates it?
Yes. Once you click Replace current template or save the generated template, it opens inside the standard Yaballe rich HTML editor where you can manually tweak text, formatting, font sizes, and HTML structure.
