See these suggestions for opening new (multiple) eBay accounts:
-
Accessibility:
- Ideally each store should have it’s own computer station and designated IP
- Alternatively (typical case), use unique IP with either a VPS or a proxy (VPN)
- Make sure to always login to the store from its dedicated unique IP - or otherwise it is likely to be flagged and potentially closed.
- In high scale (100+ stores) and if you use proxy, you can consider using access management tools like MultiLogin - that can simplify your operation
-
Buyer account details & payment method (credit card):
- Important! for each of your new accounts use a different unique: credit-card, contact details (address, phone number, etc.)

Seller payment method (Payoneer):
- Ideally, when connecting your payoneer and switching to seller account, you may want to use one Payoneer per store. In this case you may want to create the store with the initial details that will later match the Payoneer you’ll be using.
- If that’s not possible you can share Payoneers across few stores - when you connect your Payoneer, and if you share Payoneers across multiple stores, your store will automatically receive the details of your (shared) Payoneer that is different from the initial contact details you provided and that is OK.

Proxy (VPN)
A proxy is like a middleman between you and the internet. When you use a Proxy and want to visit a website, your computer sends a request to the proxy server, which then goes and gets the information from the website and sends it back to you. In this case the website communicates directly with the Proxy rather than your workstation. eBay seem to prefer unique IP per account and Proxy can be of assistance in this case, as it communicates with the Proxy (proxies) rather than directly with your workstation.
There are many Proxy providers out there, and you should do your own research and decision of which one your prefer to use. Some of the providers that are mentioned by our clients include: SmartProxy, Brightdata, and The Social Proxy - however there are many more out there for you to choose from and by no means should you consider this a recommendation to use any of the vendors.
VPS - how to
A Virtual Private Server (VPS), is like having your own private computer in the cloud. It's a virtual machine that runs its own operating system, has its own resources (like CPU, RAM, and storage), and can be accessed remotely.
With a VPS, you have full control over the software and settings of your virtual machine, just like you would on your own physical computer.
